TROUT BAKED IN CREAM

TROUT BAKED IN CREAM ...a great baked trout recipe to try !

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 whole rainbow trout, about 1 1/4 lbs., fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 pt. whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
INSTRUCTIONS
Wash and pat fish dry with paper towels. Brush inside and out with lemon juice. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in lightly buttered baking dish. Pour cream over. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. If fish is frozen, bake for 20-25 minutes. The baked trout recipe is ready...enjoy the trout ! Nice one !

MARY'S BAKED TROUT WITH MUSHROOM STUFFING

INGREDIENTS
  • 6 pan dressed trout (8 oz. each)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • Mushroom stuffing

INSTRUCTIONS
Clean, wash and dry fish. Sprinkle inside and out with salt and pepper. Place fish on a well greased pan bake and serve platter (18 x 13 inch). Stuff fish and brush with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.

MUSHROOM STUFFING:
  • 1 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. soft bread crumbs
Cook mushrooms, onion and celery in butter until tender. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Makes about 2 1/2 cups of stuffing.The baked trout recipe is ready to serve...enjoy it !

LAKE BAKED TROUT RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
  • 2-3 med. size lake trout fillets
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c. Miracle Whip
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • Onion salt

INSTRUCTIONS
Place fillets in bottom of glass dish, squeeze lemon over fillets; sprinkle lightly with onion salt. Mix sour cream and Miracle Whip together and spread on top of fillets. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top. Place in oven and bake. Bake at 350 at 350 degrees uncovered for 45-55 minutes. The baked trout recipe is ready to serve 4-6 people. Nice taste...enjoy it !

BAKED TROUT, RED SNAPPER OR BASS

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (14 to 16 inch) trout or other fish
  • Butter
  • 3 to 4 onions, sliced
  • Garlic salt to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 to 1 1/2 oz. red wine (or more)
  • 1 lemon

INSTRUCTIONS
Place fish on large piece of well buttered heavy foil. Put 2 or 3 fresh onions inside and 1 outside. Sprinkle well with garlic salt, slat and pepper. Add wine. Squeeze lemon over fish. Drop the rind
into the package. Carefully wrap fish in foil. (Spray foil with vegetable spray if cooking on grill.) Bake over hot coals or in a 450 degree oven for 30 minutes on one side. Turn and bake 15 more
minutes. The baked trout recipe is ready to serve ...... enjoy!

INGREDIENTS & INSTRUCTIONS
Sprinkle inside cavity of trout with salt and lemon juice. Dip trout in heavy cream, then in mixture of grated Parmesan cheese, cracker crumbs and finely chopped green onions.
Arrange trout in shallow baking pan. Place tomato slice on each one and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Dot with butter and add about 1/4 cup dry vermouth for 4 trout. Bake in 375 degree oven until tender; about 30 minutes. The baked trout recipe is ready to serve..enjoy it ! Bon apetit !.

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 lb. trout
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 onions, minced
  • 1 green pepper, minced
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. dill seed
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1 c. chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • Paprika

INSTRUCTIONS
Thoroughly clean fish, slit fish open as much as possible toward the tail. Sprinkle inside and out with salt, pepper and dill weed. Mix bread crumbs and all other ingredients together. Fill the cavity of the fish with this mixture and close with skewers or toothpicks.
Line a hollow pan or baking sheet with greased foil, place fish on it, place the remaining filling around fish. Slice lemon and lay across fish. Sprinkle dill weed and paprika over fish. Bake in
preheated 400 degree oven for 45 minutes. Baste once or twice with pan juice. Fish is done when it comes flaky. The baked trout recipe is ready to serve with tossed salad. Great one !

Spray baking dish with vegetable spray or garlic spray. Place filets in dish; squeeze juice from lemon over fish. Slice butter into pats and place on top of fish. Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder, sliced onion, and bell pepper over fish. Let stand for 1/2 hour, then bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. The baked trout recipe is ready to serve...delicious indeed ! Enjoy the trout !
